Sister School

When I started Han Al American School in Guatemala, I wanted to bring together two different styles of education: Korean and American. In Korea, the educational system is strongly traditional, and students achieve high standards through considerable effort in acquiring content. The American model of education encourages critical thinking and developing the whole individual. It was my aim to create an environment that facilitated both the content-driven learning and the personalized educational experiences that allow students to fully develop into confident, productive, and proactive members of society.
